Built on forged carbon-steel slide and frame, the SA-35 delivers the classic Hi-Power form with modern U.S. manufacture and a durable matte blued finish. Checkered walnut grips provide a traditional look and secure purchase on this full-size 9mm pistol.
The cold hammer-forged 4.7 in barrel, single-action locked-breech system, and factory-tuned single-action trigger anchor the pistol’s shooting characteristics. An extended manual thumb safety and a ring hammer with a no-bite spur round out the controls.
Springfield updates the design with refined feed ramp and extractor geometry and an external extractor. The mildly beveled magazine well supports quicker reloads, and the deletion of the magazine disconnect streamlines the fire-control system.
Sight regulation is straightforward with a dovetailed white-dot front and a serrated ledge-style Tactical Rack rear. Rear slide serrations offer purchase for administrative handling. Capacity is 15+1 using included steel magazines.
Overall length is approximately 7.8 in, and the unloaded weight is approximately 31.5–32 oz, giving the SA-35 a balanced, full-size feel on the range or in the safe.
