FN Herstal SCAR 16S 5.56 NATO, 16 in CHF Chrome-Lined Barrel, Two-Tone (Black/FDE), Belgian-Marked, Folding/Telescoping Stock
Made in Belgium and marked accordingly, this FN Herstal SCAR 16S pairs a monolithic aluminum upper with a continuous top Picatinny rail and a modular handguard that has a full-length bottom Picatinny rail installed; it accepts optional side rail sections (no side rails installed). It features a cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined 16 in barrel and a short-stroke gas-piston system with an adjustable gas regulator. The side-folding, telescoping stock includes an adjustable cheek rest and a wide length-of-pull range. Factory folding front and rear sights are included, and the rifle comes with one 20-round USGI-pattern aluminum magazine.

The SCAR 16S uses a short-stroke gas-piston system with an adjustable gas regulator, designed for consistent operation across a range of 5.56 NATO loads. Its cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined steel barrel offers durability and service life suited to regular use.
The monolithic aluminum upper provides a continuous top Picatinny rail for mounting and alignment. The handguard is modular, with a full-length bottom Picatinny rail installed; it accepts optional side rail sections (none installed).
The side-folding, telescoping stock features an adjustable cheek rest, textured buttpad, and an adjustable length of pull from 11.5 to 14.5 in. The aluminum upper receiver and polymer lower receiver balance rigidity and weight; the receivers, stock, and handguard are finished in black, while the barrel, gas block, and muzzle device are tan/FDE, yielding a two-tone configuration.
This Belgian-marked commercial import carries FN HERSTAL BELGIUM and FNH USA Fredericksburg, VA markings. Capacity is 20+1 and the rifle includes a manual safety. One 20-round USGI-pattern aluminum magazine is included.
