The Performance Center Carry Comp system pairs a stainless-steel, power-ported 4.25 inch barrel with matching slide ports to direct gases upward. This factory-tuned setup is built to keep the compact Metal-frame M&P9 controllable while maintaining duty-ready reliability.
The pistol uses a striker-fired action with a flat-faced, Performance Center tuned trigger for a consistent pull. Safety features include a trigger safety tab, and the pistol is marked "CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED." There is no external thumb safety.
Controls are set up for versatility: ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible magazine release support left- or right-handed use. An accessory rail on the dust cover allows mounting of compatible lights or accessories.
The stainless-steel slide and barrel receive an Armornite-type treatment, and the slide adds practical front, rear, and top serrations. It is optics-ready (no optic installed) and ships with tall iron sights: a high-visibility front dot with a tall black rear notch. The aluminum-alloy Metal frame employs interchangeable palmswell inserts to fit the shooter. This example has a custom multi-tone camouflage refinish in green/gray/black across both slide and frame.
