Product Description

Ruger 10/22 Carbine .22 LR, 1996 Production, 18-inch Barrel, Silver Alloy Receiver — Inoperable/For Parts

This is a 1996-production Ruger 10/22 Carbine in .22 LR with an 18-inch carbine-profile steel barrel, a cast aluminum-alloy receiver in a silver finish, and a hardwood stock with barrel band. It is inoperable and unsafe due to a severely cracked receiver and is offered strictly as a donor for remaining parts. No magazine is included.

    Condition

    Overall Condition: Poor condition.

Bore Condition: Fair - Generally clean, some residue or smudges, slight corrosion.

Bore Rifling: Fair Rifling - Worn rifling, slight loss of definition.

Specific Condition Notes: This rifle is inoperable and unsafe. The receiver has a very large crack through the entire top strap and is completely destroyed; it should not be repaired or fired, and the receiver will need to be replaced entirely. The barrel shows healthy rifling; the exterior has spots of pitting and scratches. The hardwood stock shows heavy scratching and blemishing. The trigger pack has extensive surface wear with minor pitting.

    No magazine is provided.

    What's Included
    • Ruger 10/22 Carbine .22 LR rifle (inoperable; for parts)
    • No magazine included

This carbine features the Ruger V-block barrel attachment system that mates the steel barrel to the aluminum-alloy receiver. It is a semi-automatic blowback design; however, due to the destroyed receiver, it is not functional and is unsafe to operate. It should be used only for the remaining serviceable parts.

The barrel is 18 inches with a carbine profile. The bore condition is rated Fair with worn-but-present rifling. Externally, the barrel shows scattered pitting and scratches.

Sighting equipment includes an open front sight with protective ears and a barrel-mounted folding rear sight. The hardwood stock has a traditional carbine barrel band and a 13.5-inch length of pull.

The receiver is cast aluminum alloy with a silver finish and carries the rollmark "RUGER MODEL 10/22 CARBINE .22 LR CALIBER." Country of origin is the United States, and the year of manufacture is 1996.

This example is configured for single-round loading with no magazine installed. Capacity is listed as 1 round in its present configuration because no magazine is provided.
