This first-generation DPMS LR-308 stands out with its St. Cloud, Minnesota rollmark and DPMS/SR-25 pattern build in .308 Win. It features a 16 in threaded barrel with a birdcage flash hider, a free-float aluminum handguard with a full-length top rail, and a flat-top upper with dust cover and brass deflector. It uses SR-25/LR-308 pattern magazines and has an adjustable 6-position stock. The rifle is in excellent condition with an outstanding bore.

The LR-308 Gen 1 configuration includes a flat-top upper receiver with a dust cover, brass deflector, and forward assist; some early-production examples omitted the forward assist. The rifle is chambered in .308 Win and built on the DPMS/SR-25 pattern with a direct impingement operating system.
Its 16 in barrel is threaded and fitted with a birdcage flash hider. A low-profile gas block sits under the long, free-float aluminum handguard, which provides a full-length top rail and elongated side and bottom slots.
The furniture consists of a 6-position collapsible polymer stock with a rear sling loop and an A2-type pistol grip. Length of pull is adjustable from approximately 11.5 to 15 in. Both receivers are aluminum with a uniform matte black finish.
This LR-308 uses SR-25/LR-308 pattern magazines and has a stated capacity of 20+1. The St. Cloud, MN rollmark identifies it as a first-generation LR-308 manufactured in the United States.
