This Kimber Next Generation 1911 in 9mm Luger is a full-size, optics-ready Government model built in Troy, Alabama. It features an all-stainless construction, a bushing-fitted 5 inch barrel with a deep recessed crown, and an internal extractor. Series 70-style lockwork, checkering at the front strap and mainspring housing, and black walnut grips with G10 inlays round out a feature set tailored for confident, precise shooting.

The optics-ready slide is cut for a mounting plate and retains a black serrated rear sight on the removable cover plate. A dovetailed front blade provides a clear aiming reference. The slide also features front and rear cocking serrations and a flat, serrated rib.
The 5 inch stainless steel barrel is bushing-fitted, ramped, and finished with a deep recessed crown. The internal extractor and stainless slide and frame deliver durable operation with 9mm Luger.
Controls include Series 70-style lockwork (no firing-pin block), a grip safety, and a thumb safety. The trigger is a skeletonized, curved aluminum unit. The frame shows thoughtful details such as a standard Government-profile grip with a straight, checkered mainspring housing, front strap checkering, and a beveled magazine well opening. There is no accessory rail.
This full-size 1911 carries black walnut stocks with G10 inlays. Capacity is 8+1 with the included single-stack magazine. The pistol is manufactured in the United States, in Troy, Alabama.
