This IMI UZI Carbine Model B is a pre-ban Action Arms import from Israel with factory receiver markings and importer stamp. It features the 16-inch carbine barrel, stamped steel receiver with black baked enamel over phosphate finish, and the top-mounted charging-handle slot (charging handle assembly is missing). It is the closed-bolt, semi-automatic Model B configuration with a steel side-folding stock and iron sights. Note: no magazine is provided.

Imported by Action Arms before the 1989 federal import ban, this Model B represents the civilian, closed-bolt UZI carbine format from IMI. The receiver is marked "UZI semi. auto / MODEL B / 9mm PARA / IMI - ISRAEL" with the "ACTION ARMS, LTD / Phila. Pa." import mark, confirming its origin and import history.
The rifle uses a stamped steel receiver with a durable black baked enamel over phosphate finish. It retains the UZI’s simple blowback, closed-bolt operation, and a detachable box magazine system. The top-mounted charging handle assembly is missing. As configured and sold without a magazine, capacity is 1 round.
Sighting is via iron sights: an adjustable front post with "UP" elevation indicator and a flip 2-position rear aperture with windage adjustment. Safety features include a manual safety, a grip safety, and a firing pin safety.
Furniture includes a black ribbed polymer fore-end and a black polymer grip with integral grip safety. The steel side-folding stock has a sling loop and a listed length of pull of 15.5 inches. The 16-inch carbine barrel has a plain muzzle and is retained by the UZI barrel nut design.
