This sporterized Zbrojovka Brno vz. 24 combines an early interwar Brno large-ring Mauser 98 action with a slim 22" tapered sporting barrel and a receiver-mounted aperture rear sight. The receiver ring is marked "Čs. St. Zbrojovka Brno" and bears the Czech lion-over-"E" with two-digit year "23" acceptance mark, confirming Czechoslovak origin from the interwar period.
It retains controlled-round-feed with a claw extractor, a third safety lug, and a fixed 5-round internal magazine.

Specific Condition Notes: The action is loose in the stock. There is grinding on the receiver. The rifle has been re-barreled with a bore measuring approximately 7.68 mm (0.302 in). Please verify caliber with a gunsmith before use. The bolt safety is not safe; engaging the safety and pulling the trigger will not fire the weapon, however when releasing the safety, it will fire.

Built on a large-ring Mauser 98 pattern action, this rifle features controlled-round-feed with a claw extractor and a third safety lug. The bolt body is in-the-white with a round knob and a turned-down handle, and the rifle uses a fixed internal 5-round magazine with a hinged floorplate.
The sporterized wood stock has a rounded forend with a black spacer, a ventilated rubber recoil pad with a black spacer, and sling-swivel studs. There is no handguard. Length of pull measures 13.25". The barrel and receiver wear a blued finish.
For sights, a receiver-mounted aperture/peep rear sight is installed on the left rear of the receiver. The front sight is not present. The receiver ring top has been drilled and tapped with two holes.
Markings include "Čs. St. Zbrojovka Brno" on the receiver ring and the Czech acceptance proof of a lion over "E" with the two-digit year "23," indicating early interwar Brno production. The rifle follows a C-prefix serial format.
A slim, 22" tapered sporting barrel completes this sporterized configuration while retaining the Mauser 98 platform's hallmark controlled-round-feed operation.
