Built on the 1911 full-size platform, this Government Model pairs a 5-inch National Match barrel with Series 70 internals. The slide is matte stainless, the frame wears a Blue Titanium finish, and the overall two-tone presentation is factory-correct for the Competition Series. The sighting system is competition-oriented: a dovetailed orange fiber-optic front blade with protective shoulders and a black low-mount, screw-adjustable rear. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port for efficient manipulation and ejection.
Controls and fire-control components are set up for fast, consistent shooting. It uses a single-action 3-hole lightweight trigger, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, an extended thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety with a memory pad. The magazine release is checkered for positive actuation.
