The MVP LC (Light Chassis) configuration uses the MDT LSS aluminum chassis in tan with AR-pattern interfaces. It accepts AR-15/STANAG magazines and includes a collapsible AR-pattern stock and a Magpul pistol grip. The forend is vented with lightening slots, and the length of pull is set at 12.75 inches.
The 16-inch carbon steel barrel is free-floated and fluted, with a 1:7 twist for 5.56 NATO. It is threaded at the muzzle and fitted with a muzzle brake. A spiral-fluted bolt body and oversized bolt knob provide positive manipulation, and the receiver is drilled and tapped and fitted with a one-piece Picatinny scope base (non‑integral), secured by screws.
A Bushnell Trophy XLT riflescope with the DOA 600 reticle is already mounted, and a Caldwell bipod is included for stability. The rifle also has rail accommodation per the chassis and receiver design for mounting and support.
Mossberg's LBA user-adjustable trigger with a center safety blade provides a crisp, tunable pull, complemented by the trigger safety blade.
