Ejection is to the right, and the lever loop is the standard size.
Sighting is fast and familiar with an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with elevator and a hooded blade front. The receiver top is cut with 3/8-inch grooves for rimfire ring mounts, giving the buyer an option for mounting rimfire-compatible rings if desired.
The American walnut stock has a straight, uncheckered grip and a 14-inch length of pull. Overall length is 36.5 inches, and weight is 5.25 pounds, making it easy to carry and handle. A hammer quarter-cock notch provides a traditional safety feature consistent with the platform.
