The full-size APX A1 platform pairs a 4.18" steel barrel with a fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame and a serialized stainless-steel internal chassis. The modular design allows the grip to be tailored using the included interchangeable backstraps.
The slide is optics-ready with a factory cover plate retained by two screws, and it carries diagonal front and rear cocking serrations for positive manipulation. Steel iron sights are installed, with a blade front and a notched rear.
Controls are modern and adaptable: ambidextrous slide-stop levers and a reversible magazine release support right- or left-handed use. Integrated safety features include a trigger safety, firing-pin block, out-of-battery safety, and a striker deactivation button.
