The MK114 MOD 2-M uses a long-stroke gas piston operating system and an external three-position adjustable gas regulator, offering a robust, tunable setup within the AR-15 platform. It is chambered in .223 Wylde and uses a standard STANAG magazine interface. The lower is marked "PWS BOISE, ID USA" and the rifle is made in the USA.
The 14.5 inch barrel has been pinned and welded to bring the overall length to 16 inches. It is fitted with a factory PWS muzzle device bearing U.S. Patent No. 8,042,448, and the device is permanently attached. The build includes a pinned and welded muzzle device from the factory.
The slick-side upper omits a forward assist while retaining an ejection-port dust cover. Up front is a free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard with a full-length 1913 top rail. Anti-rotation cross-bolts help lock the handguard in place for solid alignment.
Controls and furniture include an ambidextrous, PWS co-branded Radian Raptor-LT charging handle, a collapsible stock on a mil-spec receiver extension, and a textured polymer/rubberized pistol grip. The configuration is the MOD 2-M series, mated to a full-size AR-15 platform.
