This MC1911 S Reserve follows the classic 1911 pattern in a full-size format with a 5-inch bushing barrel and single-action-only operation. The slide and frame wear a uniform matte black finish, and the pistol is marked with “1911 RESERVE,” “GIRSAN” on the barrel bushing, and “.45 ACP” on the chamber hood. The import mark reads “MADE IN TURKEY.”
The integral Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover provides a mounting point for lights or other accessories. Practical slide features include front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port for consistent extraction. The flat, checkered mainspring housing complements the frame’s handling characteristics.
Ergonomics and controls include a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump and a manual thumb safety. A skeletonized Commander-style hammer and a three-hole skeletonized trigger contribute to a crisp, familiar 1911 feel. Textured black grip panels with diagonal ridges and a “G” medallion provide a stable hold.
Sight alignment comes from fixed 3-dot sights, with dovetailed front and rear units (single white dot front, two white dots rear). Capacity is 10+1 using the included single-stack magazine fitted with an extended polymer sleeve/spacer to fill the grip area.
