The Gen 3 Glock 17 is a proven full-size platform chambered in 9mm Luger with a configured capacity of 10+1. This example retains the factory 4.49 in barrel and striker-fired system with Glock’s locked-breech, short-recoil tilting-barrel operation.
Gen 3 frame features include finger grooves and a pebbled texture on the non-modular polymer frame, a left-side magazine release, and Glock’s single-slot accessory rail for lights or other rail-mounted tools. The slide carries rear-only serrations for a secure grasp.
The steel slide and barrel feature a ferritic nitrocarburized treatment. The barrel uses polygonal rifling, and the fixed polymer sights consist of a white-dot front and a white-outline U-notch rear that is drift-adjustable for windage.
Markings include "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." The frame, slide, and barrel share matching serial numbers, aligning with typical Glock factory configuration and aiding in provenance.
