The XL series pairs a 5.4 in coned, bushingless bull barrel with a long slide to deliver extended sight radius and added mass up front. The slide includes forward and rear serrations, lightening windows, and top lightening ports to balance reciprocating weight while maintaining a purposeful profile.
Built on a steel frame with a 2011-pattern, aggressively textured polymer grip module, the pistol incorporates a large flared magwell marked "20★11" for fast reloads. Ambidextrous thumb safeties, a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, and a curved, lightened trigger support precise single-action operation. A skeletonized hammer rounds out the fire-control setup.
Sighting is straightforward with iron sights that include a green fiber-optic front. The slide is factory optic cut, offering a direct path to mounting an optic if desired. The steel frame features a smooth, long dustcover with no accessory rail.
Chamber and slide markings are clean and correct, with the chamber hood marked "9×19" and the slide marked "STACCATO XL." Made in Georgetown, Texas, USA, this example comes with one 20-round and two 17-round magazines to match its 20+1 capacity.
