What's Included
- Sestroryetsk Imperial Mosin–Nagant Model 1891 Infantry Rifle (AZF capture marked)
Manufactured at Sestroretsk in 1895, this rifle represents a scarcer Imperial maker relative to Tula and Izhevsk. It features the early flat-sided octagonal receiver associated with first-pattern Model 1891 rifles.
The barrel shank bears the Imperial double-headed eagle crest and the Cyrillic "СЕСТРОРЕЦКIЙ" maker marking. An "AZF" capture stamp on the receiver identifies Austro-Hungarian capture, with a standalone "D" stamp on the shank and additional inspection marks present.
This is the infantry-pattern long rifle with a 31.5-inch barrel and a fixed 5-round internal magazine. It uses a bolt-action, cock-on-open system and is chambered in 7.62x54R.
Sighting equipment includes an unhooded square-blade front sight and a Konovalov arched ladder rear sight with side graduations. The full-length hardwood stock has a long finger groove, bottom sling swivels, a steel buttplate, and two barrel bands, and it bears carved "KK" characters with tally-style notches near the front band.
The rifle wears a blued finish over a steel receiver. Non-matching bolt numbers were observed, and the length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
