Sestroretsk Arms Factory was a state arsenal in the Russian Empire, founded in 1721 by Peter I (Peter the Great). The factory was demobilized in 1922 and reorganized as the Sestroretsk Instrumental Plant, with firearms production and development continuing elsewhere, primarily at the Tula and Izhevsk state arsenals. Its lasting legacy is as a maker of early Mosin-Nagant service rifles for Imperial Russia.
