Specific Condition Notes: There are markings and discoloration on the finish from previous handling and use. The bottom barrel has a dent that creates an intrusive internal bulge; a gunsmith evaluation is recommended before firing. What’s Included
- SKB Model 600 12 Gauge over/under shotgun
The Model 600 is configured with 28-inch blued barrels and a raised ventilated rib capped by a brass bead front sight. It is a break-action over/under with a single trigger and a two-round capacity, delivering the classic feel and balance associated with SKB over/unders of this period.
Its coin/silver-finished receiver carries full-coverage scroll engraving, extending across the receiver, trigger guard, and forend iron. The trigger guard features a long lower tang, and the shotgun uses a right-swept top-opening lever.
The walnut stock has point-pattern checkering, a pistol-grip profile, and a ventilated recoil pad with a white-line spacer. A round inlay/medallion accents the buttstock. The beavertail forend includes a Deeley-style latch, complementing the engraved forend iron. Length of pull is 14.75 inches.
Manufactured in Japan during the 1960s–1970s era, the Model 600 grade is distinguished within SKB’s lineup by its silver-finished receiver. The monobloc shows a twin-piece extractor/ejector assembly, and the muzzles are smooth with no external choke tubes.
