This early 1900s Hopkins & Allen Arms Company Hammer Single Gun is a 12 gauge, single-shot, break-open shotgun with an exposed hammer and extractor. It features a 30 inch barrel, a right-side takedown/key lever ahead of the trigger guard, and a plain sighting plane. Marked on the right side of the receiver with the Norwich, Connecticut address, it also shows matching assembly numbers on the bottom tang and barrel lug.
