Hopkins & Allen Arms Company (formerly Hopkins & Allen Manufacturing Company) was an American firearms maker founded in 1868 by Charles W. Allen, Charles A. Converse, Horace Briggs, Samuel S. Hopkins, and Charles W. Hopkins. The company declared bankruptcy in 1916; its machinery, inventory, and designs were purchased by Marlin-Rockwell in 1917, and the Hopkins & Allen name later appeared on Numrich Arms blackpowder models, though the original brand no longer operates. Its defining legacy is as the exclusive manufacturer of Merwin Hulbert revolvers.
