This is a Finnish Mosin–Nagant M/91 long rifle, SA-marked and barrel-dated 1942 on a hex receiver. The boxed SA stamp denotes Finnish Army property, and the barrel also bears the stacked E over J marking. It represents the Finnish service configuration from the WWII era.
The rifle is chambered in 7.62x54R and uses a 5-round fixed internal magazine with an integral stripper clip guide. Its bolt is the standard Mosin pattern with a cock-on-open, dual-lug design and rear safety knob. Two barrel bands secure the long barrel and handguard assembly.
It has been restocked in Finland with a finger-jointed birch stock. Furniture details include a straight-wrist profile, Finnish sling-swivel plates, a steel buttplate, and a two-piece long handguard. The metal components wear a blued finish appropriate to the pattern.
Sighting is by an unhooded blade front on a raised block and a Konovalov-style stepped rear ladder, providing the correct Finnish sight picture for the M/91. The length of pull measures 13.5 inches, aligning with period military dimensions.
Additional notable details include a non-matching bolt number. The overall configuration is consistent with Finnish wartime production and refurbishment practices of the M/91 platform.
