Mosin–Nagant Mosin-Nagant for Sale

Founded: 1891

HQ: Russian Empire

Mosin–Nagant was a service-rifle design of the Russian Empire adopted in 1891, created by Sergei I. Mosin with contributions from Léon Nagant. It is not a standalone manufacturer; production was carried out by state arsenals such as Tula, Izhevsk, and Sestroryetsk and by foreign contractors including Remington and New England Westinghouse, and no modern company operates under this name. Its defining legacy is a bolt-action service-rifle family, with surviving examples persisting today primarily as surplus and collectibles.
