Ejercito Argentino Sistema Modelo 1927 .45 ACP 1911A1, 1945 DGFM-FMAP, Crest-Marked, Blued, 5 in Barrel
License-built under Colt authorization by DGFM-FMAP in Rosario, Argentina, this 1945 Sistema Modelo 1927 is a forged, full-size 1911 chambered in .45 ACP (11.25mm). It carries the Argentine Republic crest and Ejercito Argentino service markings, plus factory rollmarks denoting the licensed production. Matching frame and slide serials with a non-matching barrel hood number, GI-pattern features, and a traditional blued finish make this an identifiable and desirable example for collectors of service 1911 variants.

What's Included
- Ejercito Argentino Sistema Modelo 1927 pistol
- One 7-round single-stack steel 1911 magazine
Produced by DGFM-FMAP as a direct, licensed M1911A1 pattern, this Sistema retains hallmark GI features: scalloped frame relief cuts, an arched mainspring housing with lanyard loop, a spur hammer, and a short trigger. The slide shows vertical rear serrations and a standard, non-lowered ejection port consistent with period service configuration.
Military markings are prominent, including the Argentine national crest on the slide and the "EJERCITO ARGENTINO – SIST. COLT CAL. 11.25 MOD. 1927, D.G.F.M.-(F.M.A.P.)" rollmarks. The 11.25mm metric caliber designation corresponds to .45 ACP, and this example maintains the traditional blued finish over its forged carbon-steel frame and slide.
Sighting equipment follows the GI pattern with a staked front blade and a square-notch rear. Hardwood grip panels with longitudinal grooves complete the period-correct service look and feel.
Internally, it is a single-action, short-recoil locked-breech 1911 platform with standard left-side magazine release and layered safety system: manual thumb safety, grip safety, half-cock notch, and inertia firing pin. Capacity is 7+1, fed by a single-stack magazine, and the barrel measures 5 inches.
