The FNX-9 MS pairs FN’s battle-proven double-action/single-action system with an all-black, full-size polymer frame. Built in Columbia, South Carolina, this pistol delivers fully ambidextrous controls, a cold hammer-forged stainless barrel, and a nitrided stainless slide. Its 17-round capacity, MIL-STD-1913 rail, and interchangeable backstraps make it a versatile sidearm for duty or range use.

FN designed the FNX series around a robust, short-recoil DA/SA action that allows both traditional double-action first shots and crisp single-action follow-ups. The external skeletonized hammer provides instant visual status while keeping lock time short.
The 4-inch cold hammer-forged stainless barrel receives a nitrided treatment for added hardness and corrosion resistance. Paired with a stainless slide finished to a non-reflective matte black, the pistol maintains durability in demanding environments.
Fully ambidextrous safety/decocker levers, slide stops, and magazine releases make the FNX-9 MS immediately usable by either hand without modification. Deep front and rear slide serrations ensure positive manipulation, even with gloves.
A MIL-STD-1913 rail molded into the frame accepts lights or lasers, and the lanyard eyelet at the grip base supports retention requirements. Fixed steel three-dot white sights offer a clean sight picture straight from the box.
