The DVC 3-GUN runs on STI’s modular 2011 platform, giving shooters a steel frame mated to a polymer grip for recoil control and double-stack capacity. The extended dust-cover carries a three-slot Picatinny rail for lights or lasers without altering balance.
Its 5.4-inch bull barrel is stainless steel with a titanium-nitride (gold) finish that resists fouling and adds visual contrast. Because it is bushingless, lock-up remains tight while simplifying takedown alongside the Dawson tool-less guide rod.
The DLC-coated slide features weight-reduction cuts and three oval windows that accelerate reciprocation. Front and rear cocking serrations offer confident purchase under match conditions.
Controls favor speed: an ambidextrous thumb safety, high-sweep grip safety, and a flat-faced 2.5-lb skeletonized trigger with over-travel stop. A red fiber-optic front sight aligns quickly against a fully adjustable rear, giving a long sight radius for precise shots.
Engineered between 2016–2018 specifically for 3-Gun, this example remains in excellent condition with a pristine bore, ready to compete or anchor a high-end 2011 collection.
