What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport II 5.56 NATO rifle
- One 30-round Magpul PMAG Gen M2 polymer magazine
The 16-inch barrel is machined from 4140 steel and treated with Smith & Wesson’s Armornite nitride finish for enhanced corrosion resistance. A standard 1/2-28 muzzle thread lets you add a brake, compensator, or suppressor without additional gunsmithing.
Forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers are finished in matte black anodizing and feature an integral forged trigger guard for strength. The Sport II variant adds a forward assist and dust cover, providing the full feature set many shooters expect in an AR-15.
A two-piece ribbed polymer handguard keeps weight down while protecting the carbine-length gas system. Up top, the rifle ships with an A2 front sight post and a Magpul MBUS flip-up rear aperture, giving you ready-to-use iron sights and a flat-top Picatinny rail for optics.
The six-position telescoping stock and A2-style pistol grip supply a familiar feel and allow length-of-pull adjustments to fit different shooters or gear. Standard MIL-STD component compatibility means future upgrades—triggers, furniture, or internals—install easily.
