Heckler & Koch MR762A1 7.62×51 NATO Rifle – Geissele SSA Trigger & Three-Chamber Brake
The Heckler & Koch MR762A1 is the civilian sibling of HK’s combat-proven 7.62 NATO platform. This example stands out with a factory-installed Geissele SSA two-stage trigger and a three-chamber muzzle brake, pairing match-grade control with reduced recoil. A cold-hammer-forged, non-chrome-lined barrel, the HK short-stroke gas piston system, and ambidextrous controls round out a rifle designed for durability and precise, versatile use.

The Geissele SSA two-stage trigger delivers a crisp 4.5 lb break, giving the shooter refined control for both precision and rapid engagements. HK’s short-stroke gas piston system keeps fouling out of the action and mirrors the operating group used in the U.S. Army’s M110A1 SDMR.
The 16.5-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel is non-chrome-lined, medium-contour, and threaded 5/8-24 TPI. HK rates this barrel for more than 20,000 rounds of service life. The installed three-chamber muzzle brake further manages recoil and muzzle rise, making follow-up shots faster.
A free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard matches the upper receiver’s monolithic height for seamless optics mounting. The rifle arrives optics-ready, with a full-length rail and ambidextrous selector, magazine release, and bolt catch for left- or right-handed operation.
The 5-position collapsible polymer stock combines portability with a solid cheek weld. Transparent polymer magazines allow quick round-count verification, and the hard-coat-anodized 7075-T6 aluminum receivers ensure long-term durability in demanding conditions.
