The heart of this pistol is a 7.5-inch 4140 steel barrel treated inside and out with Smith & Wesson’s Armornite finish for corrosion resistance and durability. A 1/2-28 TPI muzzle thread pairs with the factory cylindrical blast diverter, giving buyers an easy path to muzzle devices or a suppressor.
The free-float aluminum handguard measures 7.75 inches, providing M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions plus a laser-engraved T-marked Picatinny rail up top. Forward assist, shell deflector, and dust cover are all included on the upper receiver.
A flat-face, single-stage trigger and chrome-plated firing pin deliver a consistent break, while the modular M&P rubber-overmold grip ships with three interchangeable palm-swell inserts for custom fit. Controls remain standard AR-15, including a familiar magazine release and a manual thumb safety.
The receiver extension is foam-covered in lieu of a stabilizing brace, keeping the pistol compact yet comfortable against the cheek.
