The KS7’s bullpup layout places the action and magazine behind the trigger, keeping the 18.5-inch barrel within a 26.1-inch overall length. This short footprint is ideal for tight spaces without sacrificing ballistic performance.
Kel-Tec’s patented feed and downward-ejection system (U.S. Patent No. 9,534,861 B1) sends spent shells straight down, keeping the shooter’s line of sight clear and making the shotgun friendly to both right- and left-handed users.
The single under-barrel magazine tube holds six 3-inch shells (or seven 2¾-inch shells) plus one in the chamber, providing reliable capacity in a slim profile. The cylinder-bore barrel is optimized for defensive and general-purpose loads.
A fiber-optic bead front sight aligns with the notch in the removable carry-handle rib for quick, high-visibility sighting. The rib doubles as a convenient carry handle and can be removed to expose a full-length Picatinny rail (not included) if the user chooses.
The glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame, polymer stock, and hard-coat anodized aluminum receiver keep weight to a minimum while maintaining strength. The M-LOK compatible forend lets users add lights, grips, or other accessories without extra adapters.
