This Yugoslav-made Zastava M48 dates to the first years of production (1950-1952) and carries the prized FNRJ side legend. Built on the intermediate-length Mauser action, it features all-milled steel construction and retains its original hardwood stock. A professionally installed Ken Farrell Picatinny scope rail adds modern optics capability while preserving the rifle’s collectible character.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.

A Ken Farrell Picatinny rail has been precisely mounted to the receiver, giving the rifle modern optic compatibility without permanent modification. The original iron sights remain intact: a hooded inverted-V front sight pairs with a tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters.
The hardwood stock shows classic M48 details—grasping grooves, sling cut-through, and a cupped metal buttplate—while the factory blue/black oxide finish on the metal surfaces retains strong color. An import mark from PW ARMS REDMOND WA is present on the barrel.
