Bauer Automatic .25 ACP Micro Pistol – Stainless Steel, Pearl Grips, 6+1 Capacity
The Bauer Automatic is a Fraser, Michigan–made answer to the post-1968 ban on imported FN Baby Brownings. Built entirely from investment-cast 416 stainless steel and fitted with factory optional white pearlescent grips, this micro .25 ACP pistol offers corrosion resistance, pocketable size, and strong parts interchangeability with the original Browning design.

What’s Included
- Bauer Automatic pistol with factory white pearlescent grips
- 1 × factory stainless-steel 6-round magazine
Produced from 1972 to 1984, the Bauer Automatic filled U.S. demand for a high-quality “mouse gun” after importation of the Baby Browning ceased. Most parts interchange with the Browning, yet Bauer engineered a 45-degree clockwise barrel rotation for takedown, offering a unique domestic twist on the classic design.
Both slide and frame are machined from 416 stainless, finished in a brushed satin sheen that shrugs off corrosion and blends well with the polished pearl grips. A serial suffix “S” on this pistol indicates inclusion in the stainless production batch.
Operation is simple and reliable: striker-fired, single-action, blowback with a two-position thumb safety. Vertical rear slide serrations and an anti-glare rib aid manipulation, while fixed integral sights provide a snag-free profile suitable for deep concealment.
The 2.1-inch stainless barrel, clean bore, and crisp rifling support practical accuracy inside typical pocket-pistol distances. Capacity is 6+1 rounds, delivered through the included factory magazine.
