Manufactured at Waffenfabrik Bern, this K31 retains the ring-style charging handle that makes the straight-pull action fast and intuitive. Cycling remains smooth, with positive lockup that showcases Swiss machining.
The 25.7-inch barrel features a 1:270 mm twist, and the excellent bore condition promises strong accuracy with standard 7.5x55 GP11 ammunition. The blued finish shows honest handling marks but maintains uniform coverage.
Its late-production beech stock includes the characteristic finger groove and side sling bar, complemented by a bayonet lug beneath the front band. The side sling configuration reflects Swiss alpine service requirements.
Sighting is handled by a shrouded blade front and a tangent rear sight graduated out to 1,500 meters, with a yellow triangle index mark for rapid battlefield adjustments. A 20.5-inch sight radius supports precise shot placement.
