The Echelon 4.0C is Springfield Armory’s modular, striker-fired compact that pairs a 4-inch hammer-forged barrel with a serialized Central Operating Group chassis. Its Melonite-finished slide carries both forward and rear serrations plus a Variable Interface System optics cut that accepts more than 30 red-dot footprints. Fully ambidextrous controls, tritium/luminescent U-Dot sights, and a flat-faced trigger round out this 9mm pistol, which earned an NTOA Gold rating in 2025.

The serialized Central Operating Group (COG) chassis allows the grip module to be swapped without affecting the firearm’s legal serial number, making future size or color changes straightforward.
Springfield’s Variable Interface System optics cut comes pre-machined in the slide, letting the buyer mount most popular red-dot sights without additional milling. Front and rear cocking serrations give solid purchase for press checks or slide manipulation, even when wearing gloves.
The 4-inch hammer-forged barrel features a 1:10 RH twist and a Melonite treatment inside and out for corrosion resistance and long service life. A flat-faced trigger with a built-in safety offers a consistent, crisp break.
Fully ambidextrous slide stops and magazine releases support right- or left-handed use, while the reversible mag release can be switched without tools. Tritium front and rear night sights with a white-dot front and U-notch rear provide a clear, fast sight picture in all lighting conditions.
