The DWX’s hybrid design marries proven 1911 internals—single-action only, flat-face skeletonized trigger, and commander-style hammer—with a double-stack CZ grip frame for increased capacity and a natural point of aim.
A match-grade 4.95-inch stainless barrel is precisely fitted, and its hood is stamped “MATCH 9 MM” to underscore the tight tolerances. The entire pistol wears a black DLC coating for excellent wear and corrosion resistance.
Capacity stands at 19+1 rounds, and Dan Wesson includes both 19-round and 10-round magazines, each finished with red anodized aluminum base pads that match the grip panels and trigger.
The slide is optic-ready with a factory cut and ships with an RMR-pattern plate. Until an optic is installed, shooters can rely on the green fiber-optic front sight and serrated, square-notch adjustable rear sight for a clear sight picture.
