What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport II CA-Compliant semi-automatic rifle
- One 10-round detachable magazine
This Sport II variant is built on Smith & Wesson’s forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers, finished in hard-coat black anodizing for enhanced wear resistance. The flat-top upper features numbered T-slots for repeatable optic mounting, and the rifle retains a forward assist and dust cover for full Mil-Spec functionality.
A 16" 4140 steel barrel, treated inside and out with Smith & Wesson’s Armornite nitrocarburizing process, offers superior corrosion protection and a long service life. The 1:9" right-hand twist stabilizes common 55- to 62-grain 5.56mm ammunition, and the non-threaded muzzle meets California requirements.
The rifle ships with a pinned six-position M4-style polymer stock and a featureless fin-grip that eliminates a conventional pistol-grip contour while preserving solid control. A carbine-length, two-piece polymer handguard keeps weight down and shields the shooter’s hands from barrel heat during extended firing sessions.
Sighting equipment includes a fixed A2 front post on the gas block and a folding polymer MBUS-style rear sight, providing immediate out-of-the-box usability. An ambidextrous safety selector, chromed firing pin, and integral trigger guard round out a package engineered for dependable performance on the range or in the field.
