Springfield’s Variable Interface System machines the optics-ready slide with shallow, modular wells that directly seat more than 30 popular micro red-dots at the correct depth for co-witness with the U-Dot sights.
A 4.5-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel with 1:10 RH twist and Melonite finish delivers long service life and consistent accuracy. The non-threaded muzzle preserves duty-gun dimensions.
Controls are fully ambidextrous out of the box, including slide-stop levers and a reversible magazine release. A flat-faced trigger and integrated trigger safety provide a clean break and straightforward operation.
The full-length MIL-STD-1913 rail on the dust cover supports white lights or lasers, while aggressive front and rear slide serrations assure confident manipulation in any condition.
