Springfield Armory's 1911 DS Prodigy AOS in 9mm pairs a forged carbon-steel slide and frame with a polymer double-stack grip module for high capacity and durability. This full-size model features a 5 inch match-grade forged stainless bull barrel, the Agency Optic System (AOS) with steel plates, and a Coyote Brown Cerakote H-250 finish. It ships with three magazines, fiber-optic/black serrated sights, and a full-length Picatinny rail.

The forged carbon-steel slide and frame wear a uniform Coyote Brown Cerakote H-250 finish, matched to the forged construction for longevity. A textured polymer grip module with an integral flared magwell supports the double-stack format and fast reloads. Front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port enhance handling and reliability.
A 5 inch match-grade forged stainless bull barrel delivers consistent lockup in a bushingless setup. The barrel uses a 1:16 twist and is driven by a two-piece full-length guide rod, emphasizing smooth cycling in a full-size configuration.
The Agency Optic System uses steel plates with an integral rear sight so the sight picture is maintained with or without an optic installed. This pistol includes the Agency Arms A13B plate and a factory plate stamped 41373. Sights are a green fiber-optic front and a black serrated rear integrated into the AOS plate.
Controls are 1911 single-action only with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with memory bump. A skeletonized 3-hole trigger and skeletonized loop hammer complete the fire-control setup. The dustcover hosts a full-length Picatinny accessory rail for mounting lights or other rail-mounted accessories.
