Proofed in Italy in 2002 (Italian date code "BS") and imported by Benelli U.S.A., it features a flush Full choke, a bright mirror-finish bore, and classic SBE I configuration that accepts 2.75, 3, and 3.5 inch shells.

The SBE I uses Benelli's inertia-driven action with a rotating bolt head for reliable cycling. It has an anodized aluminum alloy receiver and a steel barrel, paired with a cross-bolt safety. Capacity is 2+1, and length of pull is 14.25 inches.
The 28-inch steel barrel includes a ventilated rib and a single front bead, set up with a screw-in flush choke system and a Full choke installed. The chamber is marked for 3.5 inch shells and accepts 2.75, 3, and 3.5 inch loads, offering broad versatility in 12 gauge.
Stocked in black polymer with molded checkering, this SBE I features a ventilated Benelli-branded recoil pad for a solid shoulder interface. The handguard is polymer, and the overall finish is matte for low glare.
Proofed in Italy with "PSF" proof marks and the "BS" date code indicating 2002, it bears the Benelli U.S.A. Corp., Accokeek, MD import mark. A gold/bronze-tone carrier adds a distinctive factory detail. Made in Italy.
The bore presents in excellent condition with a clean, mirror finish. Combined with the Full choke and 28-inch barrel, it is configured for precise shot placement with appropriate loads.
