The KSG’s bullpup configuration places the action behind the trigger, delivering an overall length of approximately 26.1 inches while retaining an 18.5 inch barrel. It loads from the bottom and ejects downward, maintaining a compact footprint and balanced handling. Unloaded weight is about 6.9 lb, and it uses a cross-bolt safety.
Dual, user-selectable magazine tubes are the hallmark of the platform. With 2 3/4 inch shells, factory tube capacity is 7+7, and total capacity is listed at 14+1. The chamber accepts 3 inch shells. The barrel is a smoothbore with a fixed cylinder choke.
Construction pairs a hardened steel receiver with glass-reinforced nylon (Zytel) for the stock and forend. The stock includes a rubber buttpad and a pistol grip with Kel-Tec square texturing. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
A full-length top Picatinny rail and a short bottom rail provide mounting space. This shotgun comes set up with Tacticon flip-up front and rear iron sights, and the lower rail carries a Magpul MOE vertical foregrip.
