This High Standard Sport King Model 103 is a 1960s Hamden, Connecticut production .22 LR pistol with the long 6.75 inch tapered barrel. It features fixed sights with a ramped front blade and an integral rear notch on the slide, plus push-button takedown. The slide and frame carry matching serial markings, and it comes with its factory box, instruction sheet, a 10-round magazine, and a leather field holster.

Built on the Model 103 series, this Sport King uses a simple blowback, semi-automatic action with a single-action trigger and a manual safety. Rear slide serrations aid manipulation, and the integral rear sight keeps the sight picture stable with the slide profile.
The 6.75 inch tapered barrel is the long target length and includes a sighting groove along the top. Sight regulation is fixed, with a ramped front blade and a rear notch integral to the slide for a clear, consistent sight picture.
Finish and trim include a polished blue slide and receiver, a matte-finished frame, and checkered brown synthetic grip panels with gold Hi-Standard medallions. The ejection port is on the right side.
Field maintenance is straightforward thanks to the push-button takedown located forward of the trigger guard. The detachable single-stack magazine system provides a 10+1 capacity in .22 LR.
This example is marked with matching serial numbers on the slide and frame and carries the Hi-Standard catalog designation mfg part number 9201. It is a classic Hamden-made Sport King from the 1960s era.
