HK P7 PSP 9mm Luger Compact Pistol (1982) - German, Gas-Delayed Blowback, All-Steel, 3 Magazines
This German-made HK P7 PSP stands out for its gas-delayed blowback system, squeeze-cocking safety, and all-steel construction. Dated 1982 with Ulm proof marks and HK’s Arlington, VA importer stamp, it features a fixed polygonal barrel, fluted chamber, and fixed steel 3-dot sights. Matching serial numbers on the slide and frame and three included magazines make this a desirable example of the P7 series.

What’s Included
- HK P7 PSP 9mm pistol
- 3x 8-round steel single-stack magazines for HK P7 (PSP)
The P7 PSP uses a gas-delayed blowback system with an under-barrel piston, contributing to its distinctive shooting characteristics and compact profile. The fixed polygonal barrel is approximately 4.1 inches long, and the chamber is fluted to aid extraction.
The squeeze-cocking lever both cocks and decocks the striker and can release the slide. The extractor doubles as a loaded chamber indicator. The design incorporates a heel-type magazine release and omits an external slide-release lever by design.
Sights are fixed steel 3-dot, with a white-dot front and white 2-dot rear. The slide adds practical refinements, including rear serrations and top anti-glare ribs.
This example is all-steel with polymer grip panels and an 8+1 capacity. It carries German eagle/N nitro proof and the Ulm stag antler proof, the HK INC ARL VA 22201 import mark, and the IC date code for 1982. Slide and frame have matching serial numbers.
