This FN America SCAR 17S is a 7.62x51 NATO semi-automatic rifle configured with practical upgrades and presented in excellent condition. It features a cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined 16.25-inch barrel with a 1:12 RH twist, a monolithic aluminum upper with a full-length T-marked top rail, and ambidextrous controls. Notable additions include a Midwest Industries extended handguard, clamp-on bipod, vertical foregrip, multi-baffle muzzle brake, and extra accessory rail sections. It comes with ten 20-round steel magazines.

The SCAR 17S is built around a monolithic aluminum upper receiver with a full-length T-marked top rail, providing a rigid, one-piece foundation. Ambidextrous controls and an ambidextrous safety are standard, and the side-mounted charging handle is user-swappable and currently installed on the right side.
Its 16.25-inch barrel is cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, and free-floating, marked with the FN oval and MP stamp. The barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-baffle muzzle brake. Twist rate is 1:12 RH for 7.62x51 NATO.
The factory stock is a black polymer, side-folding, telescoping design with an adjustable cheekpiece and a rubber buttpad. Length of pull is noted at 11.75 inches. The receiver is black hard-anodized, and the rifle retains FN rollmarks including "SCAR 17S cal. 7.62x51" and "FN Columbia, SC USA" along with the FN oval logo.
This example includes a Midwest Industries extended handguard with additional accessory rail sections installed (position numbers observed on the sides and bottom), a clamp-on bipod, and a polymer vertical foregrip. Folding adjustable front and rear iron sights are fitted. Capacity is 20+1, and the package includes ten 20-round steel magazines.
