The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0C is a compact 9mm that pairs a hammer-forged 4.0-inch barrel with a billet-machined, Melonite-treated slide. Manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory, it features the Variable Interface System direct-mount optic interface with a cover plate installed, U-Dot iron sights, and a serialized Central Operating Group steel fire control unit visible through the frame window. This example includes both 17- and 15-round steel magazines and shows excellent overall condition.
The slide offers front and rear serrations, heavy top chamfers, dovetailed sights, and bilateral slide-stop levers for easy manipulation. The VIS direct-mount optic interface is on the slide and arrives with the factory screw kit and cover plate installed, allowing a clean setup with the included U-Dot irons.
Its hammer-forged steel barrel uses a 1:10 twist and a Melonite finish, with a non-threaded muzzle. The polymer frame wears an aggressive molded texture and ships with interchangeable backstraps to fine-tune fit. A push-button magazine release and a flat-faced trigger with an integral safety blade support the striker-fired action.
The Echelon 4.0C size keeps the package compact while retaining full-capacity performance. Capacity is 17+1 with the included 17-round magazine, and a 15-round flush-fit magazine is also provided. A multi-slot Picatinny/1913 accessory rail on the dustcover is ready for lights or lasers.
Built by HS Produkt in Croatia for Springfield Armory, the pistol has a black slide and frame finish and U-Dot iron sights consisting of a high-visibility yellow/green front dot and a blacked-out U-notch rear with a tactical rack profile. Serial markings are present on the slide, barrel, and chassis.
