FN FNC Paratrooper 5.56mm NATO Semi-Auto Rifle with StormWerkz Top Rail and Railed Forend (16" Barrel)
This FN FNC Paratrooper is a Belgium-made, semi-automatic 5.56mm NATO rifle in a side-folding configuration, marked with both Howco Dist. Inc. and Gun South Inc. import stamps. It features a gas-operated long-stroke piston system with a rotating bolt, iron sights, and installed Picatinny-style rail upgrades including a StormWerkz-marked extended top rail.
The rifle is model-marked FN FNC and has S / 1 selector markings indicating a safe and semi-automatic configuration.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Scratches are present across the upper and lower receiver. There is finish wear on the barrel.

Built by Fabrique Nationale Herstal in Belgium, this FNC is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL" and "FNC .223 MADE IN BELGIUM," with additional markings including "GUN SOUTH INC. TRUSSVILLE AL., CAL. 5.56 mm (.223)" and "HOWCO DIST. INC., LAUREL, MD. U.S.A." These roll marks and import stamps document its origin and import history.
The Paratrooper-style configuration includes a side-folding tubular/skeleton-style stock with a ribbed buttplate, paired with a black polymer pistol grip. The rifle is fitted with a black polymer handguard featuring vent slots, and additional Picatinny-style rail sections are present on the forend.
For sighting, it is equipped with iron sights, including a protected-post style front sight located at the gas block area. A StormWerkz-marked extended Picatinny-style top rail is installed, providing a continuous mounting surface along the top of the rifle.
Mechanically, the rifle uses a gas-operated long-stroke piston with a rotating bolt. The selector is marked S / 1 for Safe and Semi. It is chambered in 5.56mm NATO and uses a 16" barrel, with a stated capacity of 30+1 when used with a 30-round magazine.
