The 28-inch vent-rib barrel has a serrated rib surface and a brass bead front sight for a clear sight picture. The barrel uses an interchangeable screw-in choke system, and this shotgun ships with a Modified choke installed.
It is chambered for 2 3/4" and 3" shells and is configured for a 2+1 capacity. A knurled magazine cap provides easy takedown and tube access. Ejection is to the right.
Controls are straightforward, with a cross-bolt safety located at the rear of the trigger guard and a clear red indicator. The action is pump-operated for reliable cycling with a variety of loads within the stated chamber lengths.
The black synthetic stock and matching fore-end feature molded checkering for a secure grip. The stock has a 14.0" length of pull and a rubber recoil pad embossed "Weatherby," along with a rear sling swivel stud for carry setup.
Markings include "Weatherby Paso Robles, CA" on the barrel, "Made in Turkey" on the barrel, and the Weatherby script logo on the left side of the receiver. The overall finish is black.
