The 16.1 in steel barrel is nitrided for durability and threaded 1/2x28, with a 1:14 RH twist. A full-length top Picatinny rail and a lower accessory rail provide broad mounting options, while the included Magpul MBUS flip-up sights offer ready-to-use iron sighting.
Ergonomics and controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a heel-style magazine release, and dual non-reciprocating charging handles. The collapsible, multi-position twin-rod stock adjusts the length of pull roughly from 11 to 14 inches, with overall length about 29.9 inches (collapsed length about 22.5 inches).
Construction pairs a hard-anodized aluminum upper/receiver with a polymer lower for strength and low weight.
