Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Crisp polygonal rifling.
The Hostile Environment slide finish is well preserved with only minimal thinning at the muzzle. The action cycles smoothly, and the external-hammer DA/SA mechanism with rear decocker functions correctly. The fiber-reinforced polymer frame is clean with no notable scratches or dings. Non-factory grip tape is installed on the frontstrap and sides. The pistol benefits from HK’s recoil reduction system and the interchangeable backstrap design.
What’s Included

- Two 12-round steel double-stack magazines
- Spare interchangeable backstrap for HK P2000

The P2000 V3 configuration uses a DA/SA trigger with a rear decocking button and an external hammer, providing a familiar control layout for duty and concealed carry roles. The ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release supports either hand without modification, and the compact size keeps the pistol easy to carry while maintaining a 12+1 capacity in .40 S&W.
The 3.66-inch cold hammer-forged barrel with polygonal rifling delivers excellent bore condition and durability. HK’s recoil reduction system is integrated to moderate perceived recoil, helping maintain control and sight recovery between shots.
The slide carries HK’s Hostile Environment nitrocarburized black finish for corrosion resistance, while the fiber-reinforced polymer frame keeps weight down and durability high. Fixed sights include a single white dot up front and a square-notch rear that is drift-adjustable for windage.
Ergonomics are supported by the interchangeable backstrap system, and this example also has non-factory grip tape on the frontstrap and sides for extra purchase. An accessory rail with a single locking slot is molded into the dustcover for compatible lights.
Proof and import markings confirm manufacture in Germany: Ulm antler and Eagle over N nitro proofs, an AH (2007) date code, and an HKI – Trussville, AL import mark. The package includes the original HK hard case, two magazines, and factory paperwork noting the P2000-V3 and .40 S&W chambering.
