This Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0C is a compact 9mm with a 4-inch hammer-forged, Melonite-treated barrel, an FDE polymer grip module, and a black Melonite slide. It features the Echelon Variable Interface System (VIS) for direct optics mounting and comes with a Crimson Trace micro red dot installed. The pistol includes three 10-round magazines and a comprehensive factory accessory set.
The serialized Central Operating Group (COG) chassis, ambidextrous slide stop levers, Adaptive Grip Texture, and MIL-STD-1913 four-slot rail round out a modular, duty-size feature set in a compact format. High-visibility sights, front and rear slide serrations, and manipulation ears support confident handling.

The Echelon 4.0C configuration pairs a compact slide and barrel with the modular Echelon platform. Its COG serialized chassis is visible in the FCU window and is also marked on the barrel hood and slide. The polymer grip module in FDE includes a beavertail and Adaptive Grip Texture for consistent control.
The VIS optics-ready slide allows direct mounting of compatible footprints, and this pistol arrives with a Crimson Trace micro red dot installed. Front and rear serrations and integrated manipulation ears aid racking and press checks. Sights consist of a green high-visibility front dot and a Tactical Rack U-notch rear.
The 4-inch, steel, hammer-forged barrel is Melonite treated and non-threaded. The black Melonite slide matches the barrel’s protective finish. A MIL-STD-1913 four-slot accessory rail on the dustcover supports common weapon lights and accessories.
Controls include ambidextrous slide stop levers, a left-side takedown lever, and a push-button magazine release. The pistol uses a striker-fired action with a trigger safety and is shipped here with an aftermarket flat-faced trigger installed. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines.
