The 7.5 inch barrel is marked '5.56 NATO 1/7' and uses a 1:7 twist to pair with a wide range of 5.56 NATO loads. Its nitride treatment enhances surface hardness and corrosion resistance. The muzzle is fitted with a linear compensator/forward blast diverter that directs blast forward.
The free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard keeps weight down while providing accessory slots and a continuous T-marked Picatinny top rail that extends across the receiver and handguard. A low-profile hand stop is installed, and the handguard carries 'PAT. PEND.' and 'SPRINGFIELD SAINT' markings.
Forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with Type III hardcoat anodizing deliver a durable foundation. Standard AR features include a forward assist, shell deflector, and ejection-port cover. Receiver markings include 'SPRINGFIELD ARMORY GENESEO, IL' and 'MULTI-CALIBER' with the SAINT magwell rollmark.
The SB Tactical brace is mounted on a smooth pistol tube and uses a fixed design with a hook-and-loop strap. Controls include a manual safety and a single-stage, curved, silver-finished trigger. A textured polymer pistol grip with a beavertail provides a secure hold. Capacity is 10+1, and sights are not included.
